Death and Money the two things that we can not escape in this world. The concepts of Death and Money were at the inspiration for this piece. Many years ago I picked up this skull while exploring and running on the property we rent on.

My girlfriend and I live near a large gulch in Kula. Many animals live and die near this gulch. Wild deer and goats roam up and down the slopes along the gulch in search of shelter and water in the winter. In addition the property has been used for at least 100 years for farming, mostly cattle. Big surprise that the Hawaiian name for this gulch is Plenty Bones.
