ART MAUI 2013
It is that time of year again for the annual Art Maui. Check out this years selected work for Art Maui 2013. This year 346 artist registered 555 pieces of art. This years juror, Ron Kowalke selected 135 pieces by 123 artist. Every year this show is held at The Schaefer International Gallery. The mix of art ranges from photography, to jewelry, paintings to sculpture. This is the second time Matt has had artwork selected ("Maui" in '12), and we are excited to see what made the exhibit this time around.
Artist Reception
On Sunday, April 14th from 2  p.m. to 4 p.m. All Artist who entered the show, their family, and the volunteers for the show are invited to the opening of the exhibition. Artist whose work was selected for the show will be recognized and allowed to view the selected works first.

Viewing Matt's piece, "Maui"

The exhibit opens with the artists reception, Sunday April 14th at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center (a.k.a. the MACC). Art Maui will be open to the general public starting Monday, April 15th, Monday through Friday, 11-5, and evenings before shows at the Castle Theatre.

Last year I had just purchased my Samsung Galaxy Tablet, and took video of the show. This year we are going to have a Google Hangout that you can participate in day of the artists reception, 4/14/13, from 2-4 Hawaii Standard Time. Check back here then to see the show live.
